Tyi looking flawless in Alloy

Greetings my SUPERB, GORGEOUS AND EXQUISITE tall sisters!

It is my honor to become a contributor to the Tall Society as being “TALL” is one of the most important things to happen to me in my life. Like many of you, I stem from an extraordinarily gigantic family – height wise of course. My father who is approximately 7 feet and my mother who is 6 feet gave birth to me, a breech baby (a baby whose feet or legs are presented first during the birth process – what a cute coincidence :), in the wonderful city of Newark, NJ. That’s right…you can consider me an original “Jersey Girl” with Spanish and Jamaican roots. From my inception, those same roots have been the foundation of my own style, personality, and personal perspective. Being the tallest PERSON, in the majority of my social settings wasn’t the only unique characteristic I upheld. It was my dark skin, natural hair, African features, and solid upbringing that gave me the confidence and eclectic style I have today.

At 25, I can now say that being tall undoubtedly conveys a very unique sense of elegance and beauty. Although confident now, I wasn’t always this sure of myself. Don’t worry, we will talk more about my journey to finding that inner peace and inner strength very soon!

As many of you know, finding fashionable fits for women our height can be tough, but Alloy, my first retailer to review with the Tall Society, came to the rescue. The first piece I chose from their site was the Tessa Nude Heel.
I always begin my outfits with a distinct shoe in mind. Heels, for me, are difficult to walk in, so most times I personally prefer a wedge fit, but the Tessa Heel is a keeper as it is a classic look that can be worn for any occasion. Secondly, I chose the Siena High Waist Skinny Jean with a light undertone to give my outfit a bit more flavor. A comfortable jean is a girl’s best friend and definitely a must in any closet. Lastly, I chose a conservative white Brooke Peplum shirt – now that is my definition of classy!
I can wear this to work, out to drinks with co-workers, or for date night. The Brooke Peplum shirt by Alloy is a staple piece and a smart buy as it always best to purchase versatile items when shopping online.

That being said, I know first hand how hard it can be ordering things without the option to try them on first. That is one reason why I am here! I vow to give you all the best feedback on items that I enjoy as well as support your own journeys to becoming the beautiful tall women you already are. I will be in touch very soon!
