I was ready to escape the NYC pace, I needed a breather from the crazy busy life that I absolutely love. But sometimes you just need to pause, escape and take some time to refuel. Refueling is exactly what I did.
I finished packing late at night and off I was to the island of Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean the next morning to meet my mom for some quality time together. This was going to be a week of good food, plenty of rest, some snorkeling and reading in the sun. Bree would not be Bree though if I did not have something else up my sleeve.
The new TTYA x LTS collection launched just a few days ago and the Origami Flower Wrap Dress was screaming my name! Hugging my curves, this dress was perfect to stroll around the island in. The bold colors and patterns definitely forced a second look here and there.
This plunge wrap maxi dress is made in a statement floral crepe and the use of more substantial fabric is a big quality differentiator for me. This is not just a day summer dress. It would also be appropriate for dinner and evening events.
The waist is seamed with a self-tie on the outside and security buttons to keep everything together on the inside. No need to be nervous about anything untying while you are possibly dancing the night away in this dress.
One huge win is that this dress has; wait for it… Side pockets! I would have pockets in everything if that were an option. Sadly I am often missing that comfort with dresses. The sleeves are nice and long with gorgeous triple button detail at the cuff.
I am wearing this dress in a size 16 and for us curvy ladies this design is very complementary and flattering. The ultimate Coachella dress if you ask me. Bohemian chic that makes me think of a perfect summer night. Now lets talk about this dramatic thigh split ladies! It allows you to be sexy in the most tasteful way, do not be afraid to show some leg!
Now check out the full TTYA x LTS collection out below. I would say this collection is very exciting for tall women everywhere! Happy shopping my tall sisters!
A huge thank you to Felicia the amazingly talented photographer that made this photo-shoot possible, I am incredibly grateful for your time and help! Thank you to the lovely locals on the beautiful island of Bonaire that allowed me to crash their bars and resorts to take a few shots.
