FTF Shapewear!

Happy Sunday beauties!

This week we are discussing a piece of clothing that is often my savior. Some of you have reached out and asked me what I use, so here we go. Lets talk shapewear. Wearing quality shapewear under your garments can enhance the overall look dramatically. This is without cutting off your circulation off course.

Ladies please note you should still be able to move around and breathe when wearing shapewear, if you cannot do this, your shapewear is too small. The intention of shapewear is not to make you look like you dropped 20 pounds but to provide ‘Shape’, improve your posture and to enhance the overall look. I have to stress this, as out of experience and at times seeing friends work their way into shapewear that is too small, I had to give you my two cents:)

So I have tried a ton of shapewear from different retailers. Off course the very popular Spanx, high-waisted thigh shapers or stockings that have a shapewear element to it. There has not been anything that I have been particularly excited about until now.

A few weeks ago I came in contact with the lovely team over at FTF – Fashion To Figure.
FTF is an amazing fashion outlet with an online platform and stores throughout the US, see their store locator HERE.

At FTF they believe; “never ask women to conform their figures to fashion, but rather bring fashion to the figure.”! FTF clothing focuses on the plus market carrying sizes 12-24. What is amazing is that their shapewear comes in the range of sizes 0-24! See their sizing chart HERE to determine the best fit for you.

The product I am wearing underneath the black dress is the black Squeem Miracle Vest Shape Wear in a size XL. This firm compression type vest flattens your abdomen; it lifts your breasts and improves your overall posture. The vest is easy to put on with hooks alongside the front. The adjustable straps allow you to ensure the perfect fit. The boning inside the vest is flexible and moves with you. Made from control fit natural rubber technology and lined with soft, absorbent cotton Squeem’s discreet shapewear garment will help you looking your absolute best while being 100% comfortable.

Well there it is ladies. I hope this has been helpful for you.
The dress I am wearing here is also FTF, specifically the Alexi Ruched Asymmetric Dress. It is no longer available online, only in stores. Any FTF store would happily mail it to you though, so just call in with your size.
Alternatively FTF has numerous of dress options; see some of my favorites HERE.

Until next week lovelies!
