Well hello there lovely people!

It is sunday and its time to share the inside scoop on some of Long Tall Sally’s new Spring arrivals! As always I am all over it when new pieces become available because I have been consistently delighted by the offerings from Long Tall Sally. There are always a few items that I am particularly excited about.

For the spring season the two pieces that peaked my interest were definitely the Suedette Belted Coat and the LTS Laguna Leather Brogues. Unique quality pieces with endless styling possibilities. These pieces make anyone’s wardrobe more exciting!

The Suedette Belted Coat brings us back to the 70’s with the classic trench design; self tie belt, pockets and an authentic suede style stitched seam. I love the substantial collar that can be worn up to give your look a bit more edge.

The waist belt gives the coat shape and I found the trench to have a very flattering and slimming effect on my curvy body type.

As you might know it is not quite spring yet here in NYC and while shooting on a very chilly day, this trench offered a surprising amount of protection and kept in the heat. That makes this coat a great option while the weather is transitioning during the next few weeks.

Now lets move on to these delicious leather brogues. A total eye catcher, these kicks make an entire look. No expense was spared in creating these beauties made from luxury leathers with exquisite punched detailing, crimped trim and a white crepe sole. I have found my new favorite pair of shoes.

One thing that I have to point out is that these Brogues have a very tight fit. I initially ordered a size 14, which pretty much always fits perfectly from LTS. But these brogues turned out too tight for me in a 14 and I ended up with a size 15 that fit comfortably. So I encourage you all to order a size up.

Pushing the gender boundary and adding some masculinity in the form of brogues can be very attractive in my opinion. My boyfriend happened to agree and with his seal of approval I finished styling the full look with a sold pair of black jeggings.

These jeggings are by far my preferred pair. I have them in both Indigo Blue and Black. These are heavy weight thick leggings appropriate for colder temperatures.
