It is Sunday and I am back with more fun Tall Fashion to share!
A few weeks ago you might have read the impressive story of Joanne McHarg; Read it here. Joanne is the owner of online Tall Fashion store TALLGIRLS, a fellow tall sister that is 6’3. She refused to fall victim to the limited options that were out there for us and took matters into her own hands when she started TALLGIRLS.
TALLGIRLS has an insane amount of options for us, both clothing and footwear wise. If you had not heard of them before, you seriously need to go have a look. You can thank me later! TALLGIRLS offers a tremendous variety of clothing; casual clothing, jeans, maternity, sportswear, evening/formal wear and so much more. They also have a wide spectrum of sizes, from a UK size 8 up to a 22 ( = US sizes 6 – 20). To give you a reference on their sizing, I am a US size 16 most of the time, and in TALLGIRLS clothing a UK size 18-20 seems to fit me best. In footwear they offer UK sizes 9-12 ( = US Sizes 11-14). Make sure to check out their size conversion page for more detail on measurements and such. Also feel free to contact them for advice if you are unsure.
TALLGIRLS always has a steady flow of new items that are added throughout the seasons. Every time I take a peek on their website they seem to have added new pieces. They also offer some crazy deep discounts sales that you cannot miss. I’m talking sale items that are priced down as low as 5 pounds. That is $7,50!

Here in NYC the summer is still in full swing with temperatures in the 70s and 80s daily, so I am still rocking all my summer gear. This Jersey Play Suit has been my go to all summer; it is simple and cute. The stretchy fabric is light and super comfy.
I chose to cover it here with the gorgeous Vintage Flower Sheer Kimono made out of this beautiful light chiffon. Perfect to add a little flair to an outfit, without burning up in summer. Both items I am wearing are a size 18-20.
To add a pop of color, I am wearing the Smash Shoes staple heeled sandal PLEI in Coral. Yes Smash Shoes now caries a size 14! I have to say I was one of the ladies that continued to ask them when their selection would be expanded, and I am so happy they now offer their collection in US sizes 10-14! This is a pair of sturdy and elegant heels that will comfortably carry a larger frame. The heel height is 4,5 inches, so ladies make sure you can handle that height. I’ll confess and share that I was a bit unstable in them, as they were my first pair of 4,5 inch heels! But I love a challenge!
Another TALLGIRLS favorite of mine is the Floral Print Dress. I mean how adorable is this dress?! I love love love this peach color. I wore this dress to a festival in Brooklyn this summer and multiple ladies asked me where I bought it. Well here you go ladies and it just so happens to be on sale now too for 19 pounds which is about $29!
The jacket that I will be wearing often this fall, is TALLGIRLS’s Panelled Jacket. I cannot begin to tell you how delighted I was when I first tried this jacket on. it fit like a glove! It is offered in 3 colors, Taupe, Tan and Black. I am wearing the Tan color here in a size 20.
This faux leather jacket has super long sleeves and is nipped at the waist for a flattering fit. The combination of fabrics is just amazing; the panels at the front make this jacket truly unique. It is unlike any faux leather jacket I have seen before and I adore it.
In conclusion, I am one happy camper and it warms my heart to see the increased amount of options for us Tall ladies across the globe.
