THE HEIGHT was created by 5’10 Kia Patricia Manuel, a fellow tall sister with a love for fashion. They offer trendy urban clothing at an affordable price point. When asked to review one of their items, I was delighted to be given another opportunity to share my love for leggings; as their Black Ombre leggings peaked my interest immediately.
Leggings have gone through an evolution over the years, from your basic one color staple leggings, to colorful prints and patterns. What I personally had not seen before in leggings is the application of the Ombre concept; a gentle progression in the saturation of color. Therefore these Black Ombre leggings c/o THE HEIGHT, were a very welcome addition to my personal collection.
I have owned and worn a lot of leggings over the years and you quickly learn where to go for the quality stuff. No one wants the see-through flimsy leggings; sadly there are too many of those around.

Thought, time and effort went into these leggings; with high quality hand dyed heavy weight cotton used to deliver this beautiful unique piece.
When slipping on my pair of XL Black Ombre leggings for the first time, I was delighted with how sturdy they felt. It is apparent that a high quality heavy cotton was used as they really keep everything in place and together. Allowing comfort and security when wearing them. In my case that means, no out of control jiggling going on.
I kept this look all black everything; with my black biker jacket, basic black top and black pumps. This was a conscious decision, as the Ombre effect in the leggings truly gives it the edge I was looking for.
