Fall is coming..
We experienced the first heavy rainfall in months here in New York City and temperatures are definitely dropping. Was it wishful thinking to assume an Indian summer for the remainder of September? The forecast just looked so good. Well I was wrong and the weather is transitioning.
My summer dresses are going back into the closet and they will live another day next year. Covering up a bit more will be required moving forward. Therefore I am excited to bring you yet another great look from Long Tall Sally!
This time around I selected work appropriate attire to share with you all, as I find it important to showcase Tall Fashion for all occasions on The Tall Society.
I work in a Corporate Office as a Business Analyst in the Technology field. Every day I am in and out of meetings as either a participant or meeting host. As a result I interact with colleagues that are on different levels within our organization. From peers, to Directors to Senior Vice Presidents, every day can bring a variety of interesting interactions; so dressing for success is an important component in my opinion.
Work attire has changed over the years and I would say that casual options are more accepted nowadays. Yet you will never see me heading to the office in jeans, I do believe there are interesting ways to switch it up and keep dressing for work fun.

You can create a very different look time and time again with this basic dress, and I love the variety and flexibility that it offers.

I covered it with the TEXTURED JACQUARD JACKET; this longline jacket has no fastening mechanism, which makes it more of a relaxed option. It is extraordinarily comfortable with a sophisticated look. I am wearing both pieces in a size 16 here.
The LTS PHOEBE PEEP-TOE BOOTS give the whole look a little bit of edge. I LOVE these boots and have gotten an amazing amount of wear out of them. You can wear them pretty much with anything I found. So far it has worked for me with a dress to work, with jeans to do groceries, with shorts on a warmer day out in the city and with a long skirt to a fashion show just this weekend.
Do you want to hear the best part? You can walk a marathon in these shoes! I was just baffled. The 3-inch block heel gives you so much support. It does not even feel like you’re in heels! am wearing a size 14 and they are offered in sizes 9-15. Now open heels and toes might not be possible for you depending on what is accepted in your work environment. Luckily any pair of black pumps would work with this outfit too. Who does not love a professional look with interchangeable elements.
Now ask yourselves ladies, what would we all do without Long Tall Sally? The variety they continue offer is undeniable. You will always find numerous suitable options and that is why I love them so much!
