Hi everyone! First lets address the new look you see in the pictures. Long behold my beautiful Afro:). My extensions are taking a sabbatical and I am rocking my luscious natural curls. I have to say I love it so far! Expect to see changing hairstyles on me; I love to switch it up. Don’t worry guys it’s still me!
Back to the tall fashion we are discussing this week. If you’ve read some of my earlier posts, it is no secret that Long Tall Sally is a staple in my wardrobe, and it has been for years. I am always excited to see what new items they come out with, as I feel that with each collection they are moving the needle forward in tall fashion.
Browsing through the new arrivals a few weeks ago, I stopped immediately when I came across the Sketchy Check Print Jumpsuit. Now I love a good jumpsuit, but this one caught my eye as it had luxurious look and my brain went into overdrive thinking of the endless styling options it would give me. I am wearing the jumpsuit in a size 18 versus my normal size 16 with LTS, as in this case I wanted plenty of breathing room and a loose fit.
We are having a beautiful summer in New York, so I had a blast playing around with styling. For a comfortable day look I styled the jumpsuit with the gorgeous Gold Saffron Leather Beaded Sandals. The fine detail of the beading gives these summer sandals a chic touch.
For a more formal look I am wearing the Smart Zip Detail Jacket in a size 16; this jacket has a beautiful flattering cut and tremendous potential to be worn with skirts, jeans, dresses and more. The Nine west flax pumps tying the look together are a great staple pair of black heels, these are a size 14 and with a 3,5 inch heel they are surprisingly comfortable. Voila, you are office ready; Now go tackle that big meeting!
