Growing up, and even through high school, Chelsey McDonald struggled with her height and finding ways to be confident despite it. At 6’1, she was most certainly one of the tallest of her friends. As time went on and she graduated high school, she found it much easier to be confident in who she is and the body she was given. This newfound confidence motivated her to start her own company, Tall Long and Curvy, located in Columbus, Ohio last year in an effort to create a community of tall, long, and curvy beautiful women coming together to share experiences and different resources.
Starting a tall-inclusive clothing brand has always been a dream of Chelsey’s, particularly since she was 16 and started finding confidence in her height and appearance. “I’ve always struggled to find clothes growing up and the clothes that I did find weren’t in my price range,” said Chelsey. She saw a need and is doing her part in fulfilling it.
